Events & Activities

The Recreation Department puts on some fabulous family-friendly events as well as community activities throughout the year. Some require pre-registration, some allow registration the day of the event and some are drop-in events. Keep an eye on our Events Calendar on the Home Page for the specific event dates to plan activities around your schedule!

Club & Class Open House

Want to get involved in the community and get to know your neighbors? Start the year off right by stopping by the open house hosted by the Association in mid-January for members to see all the clubs and classes we have to offer.

Representatives from each group are present with more detailed information and answers to any questions about joining.

Teen Job Fair - 2018 - 0303181017

Teen Summer Job Fair

Summer employment is an important part of growing up for middle to high school age students.

In early March, the Association gathers together local businesses in need of seasonal employees and volunteers, typically between the ages of 14-18.

Every year in late March or early April we put on one of our most loved events for the kids in the community.

Festivities include a visit with the Easter Bunny, a petting zoo, ice cream truck from a local Lake Ridge business, and of course the Egg Hunt geared to ages 0-10.

The community's incredible generosity is always greatly appreciated.
