LRPRA management is monitoring local, state, and national health agencies and considering guidance provided as it emerges for COVID-19. Any changes to our regularly scheduled activities, business policies and procedures are listed here.
LRPRA Reopening Plan
Lake Ridge Association (LRPRA) has been following guidelines put forth by the CDC, Governor of Virginia and Prince William County with regards to COVID-19. To slow its spread, we have taken a proactive approach in closing most of the community amenities and cancelling activities. In the same way, we will take a safe and responsible approach as we prepare for the reopening of our community. This plan is subject to change as guidelines and protocols are decided.

Management & Services
The LRPRA Administration Office is closed to the public until further notice. You may continue to call 703-491-2154 as normal with any questions and listen to the prompt for directions. Departments are teleworking and returning calls as efficiently as possible.
Assessment payments can be made online or can continue to be dropped off in the black drop box to the right of the Office front door, payable to "LRPRA". Be sure to include your account number, property address and phone number.
Forms & Requests
All forms and requests are available on the website-- submitted as PDF attachment emailed to appropriate department, fillable website form, or as labeled (by department) envelope dropped off in the black drop box to the right of the Office front door.
Registration for programs and activities is still available through the website by submitting forms to firstname.lastname@example.org and setting up a time via email to call and make payment with card.
Notary services have been suspended until further notice.
Board & Committee Meetings
All Association meetings have been cancelled through June 12th.
Please know that the Covenants Department is aware of the impact that COVID-19 concerns may have on Homeowners’ finances and their abilities to address outstanding property violations at this time.
Homeowners are strongly encouraged to contact the department by telephone at 703-491-2154 or via e-mail at email@example.com to discuss extensions of time and accommodations as needed. Reasonable requests will not be refused.
Extra time to clean out homes brings an influx of trash and large items for disposal, the amount of which Charlie & Son trash service does not have the capacity to handle at this time. They are working diligently to continue their duties, and the safety of their customers, community and staff are very important.
Bulk Pickup Suspension
As Prince William County Landfill has temporarily suspended bulk drop off, Charlie & Son is requesting all residents hold bulk items within their homes.
Yard Waste Pickup Limit
Charlie & Son has temporarily restricted yard waste bags and cans to a maximum of 2 per pickup until further notice. Please refer to their linked COVID-19 Yard Waste Notice for details.
Trash Rules & Regulations
Please be conscious of all trash disposal practices at this time, referencing Trash Rules and Regulations if you have any questions. Residents and Homeowners are reminded that plastic trash bags are not to be used for placing trash out for weekly pickups. This is a clear violation of LRPRA rules and regulations, and will be strictly enforced by our Covenants Department. Besides being prone to opening by rodents and birds, the bags are unsightly and in many cases unsanitary. Your continued attention to this matter in these difficult times is appreciated.
Pools are currently closed following the Virginia Governor’s executive orders. The 2020 Validation Sticker mailing has also been delayed. Pools may open with restrictions in place when Prince William Health Department issues permits and gives guidelines on operational protocols for commercial pools. More details to come as guidance continues to develop for safe reopening of Northern Virginia.
Rentals have been cancelled through June 10th. Full refunds have been issued with details emailed out to individual renters. No future reservations are being booked until the Administration Office re-opens to the public.
Recreational Courts & Boat Ramp
Tennis Court entrances (gates) have been locked and full Basketball Court hoops secured, closing them from resident use until further notice. Key requests for Tennis Courts and the Boat Ramp are suspended until the Administration Office re-opens to the public.
Tot Lots & Fantasy Playground
Tot Lots are limited to the CDC’s recommendation of 10 people at a time with 6 feet of distance between each person. Signs with these precautions are posted at each location.
Fantasy Playground has been blocked off and closed to the public until further notice as a high traffic area.
The Preschool closed as of March 16th through the end of the school year in accordance with Virginia government directives. Students can continue following along with activities posted on Lake Ridge Creative Preschool’s Facebook page and emails from the Preschool Director.
