Charlie & Son Trash Service delays during the heat wave
Charlie and Son Trash Service is doing their best to serve the community’s trash pick up needs on a daily basis through the extreme heat. For safety precautions, as their trucks can reach temperatures of over 110 degrees, their staff must implement regular water breaks. If your trash is missed on your normal pickup day it will be picked up as the beginning of the route on the following morning.

Reserve Ridgewood Pool lap lanes & Canterbury swim zones
Ridgewood Pool has opened its lap lanes for up to 3 members per lane, and Canterbury Woods has opened swim zones for groups of up to 10 members. Only 1 slot can be reserved per person (Ridgewood) or group (Canterbury), per day. See the Pools page to read over guidelines and sign up 1 day in advance between 9am-2pm.
