Board vote to close Preschool for 2020-2021 school year
On August 11, The LRPRA Board voted not to operate Lake Ridge Creative Preschool for the 2020-2021 school year due to COVID-19 implications on enrollment and the feasibility of the program.
We appreciate all the support of our program. We are truly saddened that we cannot meet together, but wish the best of health and safety to our students and their families as we all seek new ways to learn and grow together through this time. Our staff looks forward to next year when we can be together learning again!

Several county residents receive a mailing from the Center for Voter Information
Cathy Holtzlander, Neighborhood Coordinator, Department of Public Works for PWC asked that we share this valuable information with our Lake Ridge Homeowners:
- While this is a legitimate third-party organization, they are in no way affiliated with County Office of Elections or the Virginia Department of Elections. If you have received one of these letters with a Virginia Vote by Mail Application Form, you can use it to apply to have a ballot mailed to you (the County Office of Elections will begin mailing ballots in mid-September).
- If you decide to use the application to request your mail-in ballot, be sure to write in the last four digits of your social security number (this is required information). If you want your ballot mailed somewhere other than your voter registration address, please provide this address in section 5. Be sure to sign and date your request in section 8.
- You are welcome to use the enclosed postage-paid envelope. As a Prince William County voter, be sure your mail-in ballot request is going to 9250 Lee Avenue, Suite 1, Manassas, Va 20110. This is the correct and official address for the Prince William County Office of Elections.
- If you do not want to vote by mail, ignore the application you have received. If you have already applied to vote by mail and you wish to make sure the County Office of Elections received it, feel free to call (703) 792-6470, and press "0."
