LRPRA office will observe federal holiday
The LRPRA staff will observe the Federal Holiday, Monday, October 12th. Our office hours for internal operation will resume Tuesday, October 13th at 8:00am. For future office closures, visit the Office Calendar page.
Looking for chefs to teach virtual cooking classes
Do you have a great Fall/Thanksgiving recipe that you would love to share? LRPRA is on the hunt for an enthusiastic individual to teach a class virtually hosted on November 4th. We are looking for a dish with a 20-35 minute prep time. Amateur chefs are welcomed! Apply until October 9th. A zoom interview will be conducted with select individuals and compensation will be discussed at that time.
Calling all candidates for Board Election 2021
Lake Ridge Association is looking for candidates for the 2021 Board Election. The Board of Directors is composed of nine volunteers who are elected to serve a three-year term. If you have a desire to serve your Lake Ridge community, we encourage you to fill out the candidate application. Deadline for application is Friday, November 4th by 5:00pm. PWC provides Childcare Scholarship Program for families impacted financially by COVID-19
Registration opened Oct. 6, 2020, and the childcare scholarship program will run until Dec. 30, 2020. Parents and guardians may visit PWC VA - Alphabest Education, for more information and to apply. Visit Alphabest to learn more.
PWC Solid Waste facilities will resume Sunday service with precautions
Come Sunday, October 11th, the Prince William County Landfill and the Balls Ford Road Compost Facility will resume Sunday service for residents. Both facilities will be open from 8am to 5pm on Sundays. COVID -19 precautions such as social distancing and face masks are required at these facilities.
