Board of Directors call for Candidates
Only a few days left to submit your application for Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is composed of nine volunteers who are elected to serve a three-year term. If you have a desire to serve your Lake Ridge community, we encourage you to fill out the candidate application. Deadline for application is Wednesday, November 4th by 5:00pm. Volunteer Prince William (VPW) requests help
VPW is currently assisting the Community Feeding Taskforce (CFTF) by recruiting and scheduling volunteers for the operations center at the warehouse on KAO circle in Manassas City. If your time allows and you would like to volunteer follow the link to sign up and help those in need.
Important early in-person & mail-in ballot details for Nov. 3 Election Day
In these last days of the Nov. 3 election, the Prince William County Office of Elections has a few important details to share with residents.
- The final day for early in-person voting is Saturday, Oct. 31. There is no early in-person voting on Sunday, Nov. 1, or Monday, Nov. 2.
- Mail-in ballots may be returned to drop boxes on Monday, Nov. 2, at three locations until 5:00pm:
- Haymarket Gainesville Library, 14870 Lightner Road, Haymarket, VA 20169
- Prince William County Office of Elections, 9250 Lee Avenue, Suite 1, Manassas, VA 20110
- DMV Woodbridge, 2731 Caton Hill Road, Woodbridge 22191
- All mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Tuesday, Nov. 3, or may be returned to a drop box by 7:00pm on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at any of the County's 93 polling locations. Visit the County Elections webpage to view the polling sites.
