It's coming up one of our most loved annual events-- this year as a Bunny Meet & Greet! Pre-registration will be required for an exclusive 10-minute time slot to take photos with the Easter Bunny and pet the animals from the petting zoo. Plus, a goody bag from the Bunny! Complete the registration form found on the Event page.
Lake Ridge introduces a new system to manage pool access-- CellBadge. This digital system will replace the use of plastic membership cards. Residents can register their households for easy pool check-in and will no longer need to wait for validation stickers every year or visit the Office. Upon arrival at an LRPRA pool, residents will simply inform the guards of their name and address to be verified in CellBadge and granted access.
See Pool Access: CellBadge for 3-step instructions to register-- Initial Add Request, Add Household, and Submit Photos. Please follow all steps to complete registration before busy season in May.
Keep your eyes and ears out for Cuban tree frogs. These are being inadvertently imported to the Capitol Region by various outlets that sell house plants and cut flowers from Florida – which is how they get into your house. While they are unlikely to survive outdoors this far north, they may overwinter indoors. Examine houseplants and cut flowers closely when purchasing or receiving as the frog may have been unknowingly imported by the distributor. Read more about the problem here.
Enrollment is open for Association Members for classes starting in August! Read more about all that your friendly neighborhood preschool has to offer, or schedule a tour to see for yourself and have any questions answered! To register, send forms to firstname.lastname@example.org and make card payment for admission fees to (703) 491-2154, or drop off form and check/money order in the Office drop box (12350 Oakwood Drive).
COVID-19 policies put in place will include temperature checks, smaller group sizes and social distancing, regular sanitization, liability waivers and face coverings.
