Register for Pool Access with CellBadge
Lake Ridge introduces a new system to manage pool access-- CellBadge. This digital system will replace the use of plastic membership cards. Residents can register their households for easy pool check-in and will no longer need to wait for validation stickers every year or visit the Office. Upon arrival at an LRPRA pool, residents will simply inform the guards of their name and address to be verified in CellBadge and granted access.
See Pool Access: CellBadge for 3-step instructions to register-- Initial Add Request, Add Household, and Submit Photos. Please follow all steps to complete registration before busy season in May.
Check Your Plants for Cuban Tree Frogs
Keep your eyes and ears out for Cuban tree frogs. These are being inadvertently imported to the Capitol Region by various outlets that sell house plants and cut flowers from Florida – which is how they get into your house. While they are unlikely to survive outdoors this far north, they may overwinter indoors. Examine houseplants and cut flowers closely when purchasing or receiving as the frog may have been unknowingly imported by the distributor. Read more about the problem here.
