Fantasy Playground on Best in NoVA List
Northern Virginia Magazine compiled a list of the best playgrounds in NoVA and it is no surprise to us that our fabulous Fantasy Playground made the top 5! Regularly maintained by our dedicated Facilities department, it remains one of the best with its unique wooden construction for the enjoyment of the Lake Ridge Association community. With spring right around the corner, this is a great place to bring kids for afternoons of imaginative fun. Find it at 12298 Cotton Mill Drive next to the Tall Oaks Pool.
History: After two years of planning, fundraising, and dreaming, the Lake Ridge Fantasy Playground became a reality with the design of New-York based architect Robert Leathers. In October of 1989, 1,400 volunteers from the Lake Ridge community constructed and brought to life the playground we all enjoy today. It will forever be a tribute to the community spirit here in Lake Ridge!
