Come develop meaningful relationships with kids 6-12 years old of our Lake Ridge community this summer at Lake Ridge Summer Camp! We are a fun-focused camp that promotes leadership, teamwork and fellowship, and we are looking for a few more 18+ camp counselors to step up this summer and engage our community kids who are eager to let loose, get creative and have fun after a long school year!
Young adults with some experience with children are encouraged to apply. The program runs Monday-Friday starting June 20 and ending August 5-- a perfect summer job between semesters for college students and teachers, and for recent high school graduates! Recreation Highlights: Yard Sale, Swim, Fall Sports
- Yard Sale Event: Saturday, May 7 | Association Office Parking Lot | 8:00am-12:00pm | Looking for a good deal on household items and prefer to shop in person rather than online? Come out Saturday to explore over 50 households of goods and find some guaranteed great deals! Parking will be available down along Oakwood Drive-- the day will be busy, so be prepared for a little walk before you shop.
- Swim Lessons, Fall Sports: Starting Monday (May 2), residents can sign up for swim activities and fall Soccer, T-Ball and Coach Pitch! Swim Sessions are 2 weeks long, Monday-Friday, in June, July and August, while Fall Sports will run from August 13 - October 8. Fill out the appropriate registration form and pay the discounted price of $80 in May and regular price of $90 in June. Find more info on our Youth Leagues page.
- Water Aerobics: This seasonal class meets at Oakwood Pool every summer for a fun, low-impact cardio workout to music! Class takes place at 11:00am Monday-Thursday with the season running from June 27-August 18. Season Passes ($120 / Senior: $70) or 4-Visit Punch Passes ($20) must be pre-purchased from the Office-- no drop-ins. Fill out a registration form in the office and get signed up starting Monday (May 2)!
