Doggie Paddle: Join in for a special doggie swim tomorrow at Canterbury Woods Pool! Sign up for a session by submitting your Prince William County Dog License number on our Special Event Registration Form, emailing it to Recreation and making payment to (703) 491-2154. Drop-in registration is available, but be sure to have your dog license info and be ready to stand in line with your pup.

Assessment News: Late Fee Changes
September Payment Reminder: If you have not paid your quarterly assessment, please do so in a timely manner to avoid the late fee. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. If you have paid your assessment, please disregard this reminder.
Late Fee Changes: The Board of Directors approved amendments to the Assessment Collection Rule. This rule, originally approved April 19, 2005, authorizes the charging of late fees. A copy of the amended Assessment Collection Rule can be viewed by following this link, or you may request a copy by email or by calling the office at (703) 491-2154. Beginning September 1, 2022, a $50 late fee is charged on the 16th of September, December, March, and June IF:
- A quarterly assessment payment is not received and processed by the 15th of September, December, March or June; or
- An assessment account has an unpaid balance of $100 or greater on the 15th of September, December, March or June

Neighborhood Roadwork for Hill Meade Lane
Hill Meade Lane roadwork scheduled for this past week has been rescheduled for next week, Thursday and Friday, September 15 and 16. Roadwork, sealing and striping, is a two day process. Residents should keep an eye out for signs posted in their neighborhood 48-72 hours prior to roadwork. Please note this is a change to the prior schedule due to inclement weather.
County News: Upper Occoquan River Clean-up
Volunteers Needed! On Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. (rain date October 1, 2022), Prince William Trails and Streams Coalition, is conducting the annual clean-up of the upper Occoquan River, from nine different sites along 25+ miles of the Occoquan River.
