The Lake Ridge Yard Sale is a long-standing spot for community members to come shop twice a year! Seller spots are full, but shoppers are invited to come search for bargain treasures. Park along Oakwood for a little walk to the sale and enjoy the hunt!
Our annual yard sales takes place in May and September. If you missed out on selling at this one, keep an eye out for registration opening in April of next year and build that collection that may have just what someone else is looking for.
Grab a Seat for the Veteran's Day Winery Tour
Friday, November 11 | 10:00am - 5:45pm (Approximately)
What better way to kick off the holiday weekend than a tour of some of Virginia's fabulous wineries! Claim a spot on the bus for just yourself or for you and a few friends to enjoy a leisurely day sipping wine in beautiful locations and getting to know neighbors in the community. Tastings, tours, transportation, gratuities and souvenir wine glass are all included in the price. Registration closes September 30, and SPACE IS LIMITED, so sign up today to join us!
Register by submitting the Special Event Registration Form to recreation@lakeridgeva.com and call (703) 491-2154 to make payment of $90 per person. Please include an email address for each participant for them to receive receipts from wineries throughout the event.
3 Year Old Preschool Spots Open
While the school year is underway for the older kids, there is still space for your 3 year old to join in on the fun! Our Explorers class meets 2 days a week, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:15am-1:30pm. It is the perfect transitional program for toilet-trained 3 years olds by September 30 to build on their growing developmental and social skills! Students are introduced to activities including counting, familiarity with the alphabet, identifying their names, fine motor skills like cutting and gluing, and enjoy fulfilling creative time and organized playtime together.

Serving up Jamaican & Caribbean inspired cuisine made from scratch with traditional Jamaican cooking methods. Popular favorites include curry, jerk and brown stew chicken, jerk pork and oxtails. Add on some tasty rum cakes for dessert!
