

Barracudas Swim Team Interest

The Ridgewood Barracudas are a non-Association affiliated swim league that practices and meets at our Ridgewood Pool. Founded in 1974, the Ridgewood Barracudas have been an icon in the Lake Ridge Community. They continue to bring a fun and energetic approach to the Prince William Swim League. Each year they make it their mission to provide a fun, competitive and family centered environment that will inspire every swimmer.
The Barracudas are in full swing preparing for the Summer 2023 season! The team is working towards filling vacant board positions and preparing for our winter swim clinic. Interested in learning more? Visit the next board meeting that will take place on October 20 between 6:00-7:00pm (closed board session will begin promptly at 7:00pm) at the Tall Oaks Community Center! Sign Up Your Child for Explorers Class
While the school year is underway for the older kids, there is still space for your 3 year old to join in on the fun! Our Explorers class meets 2 days a week, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:15am-1:30pm. It is the perfect transitional program for toilet-trained 3 years olds by September 30 to build on their growing developmental and social skills! Students are introduced to activities including counting, familiarity with the alphabet, identifying their names, fine motor skills like cutting and gluing, and enjoy fulfilling creative time and organized playtime together.
