We Love Our Lake Ridge Camp Counselors

Our camp counselors are the best! We are privileged to have fantastic teens and young adults in the community who love to give your kids a great summer experience. Campers are accompanied to Ridgewood Pool 2x a day and have a fun mix of indoor & outdoor activities led by our counselors. Claim a spot in each of your desired weeks and make full payment before June 1 to receive a discounted price! $50 deposit required up front for each week reserved. Summer Pool Activities: Swim Lessons + Water Aerobics

Swim Lessons: With the opening of pools on May 27 comes swim activities! Our swim lessons are for all ages starting at 6 months old in our Parent-Child classes through Adult classes. A complete level is a full level is a 2-week long class, Monday-Thursday, for 45 minutes a day. Pick the dates that work best for your schedule throughout the summer. Water Aerobics: Join us at Oakwood Pool this summer for a fun, low-impact cardio workouts to music! Classes take place June 26 - August 17 (8 Weeks), Monday-Thursday at 11:00am. Fall Sports Early Registration Opens May 1

Although this weekend is our first practice of the spring sports season, early fall registration is right around the corner! Starting May 1 you can get your fall sign-up set up with the early discount through the end of the month. If you missed the spring, we recommend registering early for this next season so that you ensure your child gets placed onto a team-- team sizes are limited and may close before the last day of registration, June 30! Preschool Snapshot: Making Letters Outdoors
We are spending lots of time outside on this beautiful day! Today our young ones squinted into the cozy sunshine for a snapshot as they formed the letter Z and soaked up the gorgeous spring weather outside of the preschool.
2023-2024 Registration: The new school year will be here before you know it! To sign up, email a completed Registration Form and Financial Contract from the Registration page of the website to Recreation@LakeRidgeVA.com and expect an email back with instructions for payment through our new online system, CivicRec. You can also schedule a tour with the Preschool Director to check out our fabulous program!
