Congratulations to the top 3 winners of our annual Holiday Lights Contest! Be sure to check out the other nominations on our social media and take your own lights tour through the community with the family. We appreciate the participation of all of our residents who submitted photos of their homes, and know the community enjoys their efforts to make the neighborhood sparkle with holiday cheer!
Last week, we celebrated the addition of the Occoquan Greenway Hedges Run Segment 3 Bridge, located between Hedges Run Drive and Mohican Court. The new bridge is an upgrade to an existing trail which links the County Government Complex to the Town of Occoquan using a mix of paved and natural surface trails. Read the full article from PWC, and see more about the trails that run through the Lake Ridge community on the County Trails page of the website!
Believe it or not, the start of spring sports registration is just around the corner! Adult Kickball will be making its return for a second season, along with Youth Soccer, T-Ball & Coach Pitch. The season will run early April to mid-June. See the Sports Leagues page of the website for more information to sign up online starting January 2!
Ensure that you have opted in to email notifications in your CivicRec account. This is how you will receive season info from Recreation and your Coach or Team Captain!
Donations of hats, mittens and scarves are collected every year for Hilda Barg Homeless Prevention Shelter to keep those less fortunate warm in the winter. The community’s incredible generosity is always greatly appreciated. Deadline for drop-off at the Association Office on Oakwood Drive is Friday, January 12.
