It's almost time for Members of LRPRA and current students and their siblings to sign up for next year with early enrollment on February 1! Registration will open to the general public on March 1, so get your spot early!
How to Sign Up: To be ready for sign-up, download and fill out a Registration Form from the Registration page of our website and email it to Recreation@LakeRidgeVA.com on February 1. You will receive an email response back with instructions for payment through our online registration system, CivicRec! Find more info about our program and schedule a tour on the Creative Preschool page of our website.
Don't forget that we will have a youth cleats drop-off / pick-up box in the LRPRA Lobby (12350 Oakwood Dr.) between February 26-29! Donate cleats that your kids have outgrown or save some money by picking up a used pair that fits for your child in the upcoming season. Access will only be available during business hours, 8:30am-5:00pm, on these dates.
Registration: If you haven't already, get signed up for the spring season on the Sports Leagues page of the website!
Volunteer Coaches: Our kids sports run on volunteer coaches! If you have any basic experience with Soccer or T-Ball/Coach Pitch, we would love to have you help out! Even those without experience but an upbeat attitude can coach our young ones with a fellow co-coach, following our rules and some suggested drills. Coaching is a great way to get connected and make an impact locally! If you have already signed up your child and want to volunteer, contact us at email@example.com and we will refund you your discount and get you added!
We want to hear from you! LRPRA puts out a monthly survey for our residents. This month we are focusing on what recreational activities Lake Ridge can offer for adults in the coming year! Have your voice heard and see the results published in Lake Ridge Today.
On February 5, Garden Club of Lake Ridge (GCLR) will be hosting a presentation by member Chris Flench on Seed Saving. Learn when and where it’s appropriate to collect seeds, whether your plant will provide true offspring or some variant, how to properly store seeds and the differences between hybrid, heirloom, and GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) seeds.
The Garden Club holds regular meetings the first Monday of each month at Tall Oaks Community Center, 12209 Cotton Mill Drive. To learn more, please visit our website at Gardening Club | Garden Club of Lakeridge (gclrgrow.wixsite.com) or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that any email address provided to LRPRA will be used for Association communication only.
