Annual Meeting of the Membership: Tuesday, February 11th | 8:00pm | Tall Oaks Community Center (12298 Cotton Mill Dr.) - This meetings provides a last chance to vote for the Board of Directors (assessment account up to date and with a valid picture ID), a chance to be the first to know who was elected, and an opportunity to win a $100 door prize for attending the meeting (must be present to win)! Light refreshments will also be served.

Exclusive registration for Preschool opens Monday
Lake Ridge Creative Preschool is one of the Association’s crowning sponsored programs. State-licensed and competitively priced, the program continues to serve as a staple of the Lake Ridge community by providing a quality learning experience and preparing our 3-4 year olds to enter elementary school with confidence. Check out the details of all that we have to offer on the Creative Preschool page of the website. Registration opens exclusively to Association Members on February 3rd and is offered at a special discount, providing prime space until it opens to the general public on March 2nd. Recreation: Upcoming events & activities
Club & Class Open House: Looking to get involved in the community? Come and see what clubs and classes the Association has to offer on February 15th from 1:00-3:00pm at the Canterbury Woods Community Center (12184 Chaucer Ln.). Spring Sports Registration: We’re about halfway through our registration period! Registration for soccer (4-10 yrs), t-ball (4-6 yrs) and coach pitch (7-8 yrs) closes February 28th. Season starts April 18th-19th weekend.

Board of Directors Election: Don’t miss the opportunity to vote
Voting ends February 11th at 12:00pm. 7.95% of homeowners have voted. Thank you for your vote. When you vote, you are entered into a drawing for 1 of 10 $50 gift cards. If you have not voted, don’t delay and vote today! We need 10% quorum for the election to be valid.

If you are mailing your ballot, postage paid, ensure that you mail your ballot in time to be received by the deadline of February 11th at 12 Noon. Welcome to Doug Milburn, Director of Admin & HR
The Association is pleased to announce our new hire for Administration and Human Resources. Please welcome Doug Milburn as our new member of the Lake Ridge Association staff, here to serve the community!
Doug received his B.S. in Management and his M.S. in Business Education from Virginia Tech. He spent 10 years as a teacher in Manassas and Fredericksburg, and was previously the chair of the Health and Physical Education Department and is currently the head wrestling coach at Colgan Senior High School. In 2011 Doug was the recipient of the Spotsylvania County Middle School Teacher of the Year Award. He is also CPR and First Aid certified.
Covenants: Commercial vehicle parking
All residents are reminded that commercial vehicles are NOT permitted to be parked on Association-owned streets or in townhome subdivisions when not actively working. These include vehicles with lettering or advertising, tools, ladders, machinery, equipment, supplies, or debris that is visible. These vehicles can and will be towed at the owner’s expense. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
