Apply for Board vacancy by February 28
Due to a recent resignation, a vacancy exists on the Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation Association Board of Directors. The term for this position lasts approximately 1 year and expires February 2021. Under the Association’s governing documents (By-Laws Article IV, Section 3), the Board will vote to fill this vacancy at the meeting on March 10th.
Homeowners who are interested in serving the community and are in good standing (no delinquencies or architectural violations) are requested to send an e-mail with a cover letter and resume/biography to Ike Mutlu, COO/GM by 5:00pm on February 28th. Teens-- find summer employment at the Job Fair
A summer job is an important part of growing up for middle to high school age students. On March 14th from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Tall Oaks, the Association will gather together local businesses in need of seasonal employees and volunteers, typically between the ages of 14-18. Many businesses have applications to submit on the spot, so come prepared to jump in! See list of jobs represented & their required ages in the event details.
Annual "spring sweeps" compliance checks
Residents should be advised that Covenants Department personnel are currently conducting annual “Spring Sweeps,” wherein the fronts of residences will be checked for compliance with applicable Association rules and regulations. These drive-by inspections are expected to be completed within 90 days.

Pencil in Lake Ridge’s all-day camp for the kids this summer
The cold weather has us all looking ahead to the warmth of summer, and with it, vacation plans. Before you nail down those dates, get the kids’ summer entertainment all taken care of with Lake Ridge Summer Camp, spanning the week of June 15th to the week of August 3rd. We offer themed weeks with local field trips that kids love to come back for year after year. Unlike many other day camps in the area, our camp is all-day from 8:30am - 5:00pm and packed with a variety of activities, including built-in daily swim time at our exclusive community pools.
